Forged aluminum cans are aluminum containers manufactured through a forging process.
High Strength
During the forging process, the metal grains of forged aluminum cans are compressed to form a dense crystal structure, thereby improving their strength. The yield strength of forged aluminum alloys can reach 320-400 MPa, compared with 160-240 MPa for ordinary die-cast aluminum alloys.
High Precision
The forging process uses a high-precision die to form a one-time extrusion, which can achieve a high-precision dimensional tolerance of ±0.02mm, which is much higher than the ±0.1mm accuracy of welded or spin-formed cans.
Light Weight
The density of aluminum is about 2.7 g/cm³, which is only about one-third of that of steel, and its weight is relatively light. Moreover, after the forging process improves the strength, aluminum can further reduce the material while ensuring the load-bearing capacity, thereby reducing the overall weight of the forged aluminum can.
