Aluminum forged rings are metal parts with a closed ring structure formed by heating aluminum alloy and applying pressure through a forging process.
High Strength
Aluminum forged rings are formed by high-pressure forging. Compared with cast or welded rings, their metal grain structure is more compact and their strength is greatly improved. The tensile strength can reach 310 MPa and the yield strength can reach 276 MPa, which is more than 1.5 times the strength of similar cast aluminum products.
Light Weight
The density of aluminum is about 2.7 g/cm³, which is only about one-third of that of steel, and its weight is relatively light. Moreover, after the forging process improves the strength, aluminum can further reduce the material while ensuring the load-bearing capacity, thereby reducing the overall weight.
High Dimensional Accuracy
Aluminum forged rings are processed by CNC, with a roundness tolerance of ±0.3mm and a thickness deviation of ≤±0.2mm, which is much better than castings and turned parts. This high precision helps to improve assembly efficiency and reduce subsequent processing time.
